If you think that others are healing faster than you, or that their lives are easier, remember to breathe and know that everyone has a different path. Take care of yourself and look within.
- Allow yourself to make mistakes.
If you’ve been to multiple doctors and therapists and still haven’t seen results, it’s OK. You’re trying to find answers to what your body is saying, and that’s important. Your answer is out there. Stay positive.
- Make peace with your illness.
This is a hard one, I know, but if you find the calm in the storm (whether you suffer from stress, anxiety, autoimmune disorders, or chronic pain), you can train yourself to find balance. You can produce positive feelings, thoughts, and emotions, no matter how you feel. Rescripting takes time, but progress is coming.
